While I was looking for a picture of my dad to post, I had to look so far back that I saw many other cute photos along the way. So I decided to post a couple. One is from Thanksgiving time and the other from early Dec. so not too old. The title of this post is appropriate for the reasons I will state below. The picture with me and the boys is so darn cute, except for the fact that I look like I am wearing a giant cactus hat. Note to self, don't ever kneel down while taking a picture in the middle of a Saguaro cactus forest. Inevitably one will look like it's an appendage to your head.
The other picture is so darn cute as well. When we moved home from Japan, Buddy's work gave him the awesome shiny jacket. Our dear friend designed it for him and had it made special. Emma's jacket was a gift from Grandma Jan and she just loves it, however at the time of this picture she is 2 and 1/2 and the jacket is a 12 month size. Note to self, put the small stuff away in storage because inevitably those are the clothes the kids go for every time.
Ahh, life is good!
