There are lots of things in life that happen and make you think and be grateful for what you have. I have had one of these moments today, nothing huge, just made me grateful. There is a family in our neighborhood whose daughter has been battling a progressive brain tumor for a year. The family is trying some new medication and insurance won't cover it. So the family has organized some fundraisers for her. Today I went around and handed our fliers to all of our neighbors to let them know about what is going on. As I was making copies, reading over the fliers, and distributing them to our neighborhood, I realized how lucky our little family is to not have to go through something like this right now. We are all healthy and happy (most of the time). I love the Lord and I am so grateful for the Gospel. Miracles happen everyday, and I pray this family will have one soon.If anyone would like to help donate anything let me know. They have an account set up for money donations and they are also doing a silent auction and I am thinking about putting together a basket full of cool stuff to be auctioned off.
