Well, we made it home safe and sound from our awesome trip to Utah (it snowed yesterday, oh boy were we happy :)  And I was trying to download the pictures to do a post, and the camera was out of battery, and I couldn't find the card reader, so I thought I would amuse myself by posting a tag that my fabulous, amazing friend Maren so kindly bestowed upon me.  So here it goes.

What was I doing 10 years ago?
(really 10 years ago, I can barely remember last year)

1.  Let's see, Oct. 1998, well I was being transferred to my second area on my mission.  Sister Hammond was my companion, and we were serving in Rancho Cucamonga in the Victoria Ward.

2.  I had only been on  my mission for 2 months, so 10 years ago, I was feeling very nervous and VERY homesick.

3.  Tracting, teaching, eating tons of food (every day members fed us like it was Thanksgiving).

4.  Anticipating one of the greatest transfers. Dec. I would be transferred up to Big Bear, to live in the little shack in Sugarloaf and to serve with the greatest companion ever, Sister Blanchard!

5.  I also served in the Cucamonga ward, it was a Tongan ward, and I really loved the people.  Not sure why we served there, neither one of us spoke Tongan.  But the singing was beautiful, the people were beautiful, and the food was fabulous!!  (Except for the horse meat, it was not so good.)

What are 5 things on my to-do list today.

1.  Take Will to school by 8:30 a.m.

2.  Do laundry (oh man, I am already behind.)

3.  Clean the bathrooms.

4.  Find a book for our dear neighbors who just lost their daughter to cancer.

5.  Find something to make for dinner. (we just got home last night from Utah, and there is no food in the house.  I guess go to the store should be on my list too :)

What are my 5 favorite snacks?

1.  Wafer cookies (just vanilla, especially the ones Grandma Wadley had in her cookie jar.)

2.  Peanut butter M&M's (could eat these all day)

3.  Peanut M&M's  (could eat these all day too)

4.  I like bannanas (almost green), and crackers and cheese.

5.  Popcorn (I really love kettle corn.  So yummy)

What are 5 things I would do if I were a millionaire?

1.  Pay off my house.

2.  Pay off my parents house.

3.  Pay off my in-laws house.

4.  Save it in an ING account. (do you know how much even 3% of a million would be in interest, quite a bit I would say)

5.  Pay off anyone else's house that needs paying off.

5 places I have lived.

1.  Grew up in Pleasant Grove, UT

2.  Served a mission in San Bernardino, CA

3.  Austin, TX

4.  Tokyo, Japan

5.  Tucson, AZ

5 jobs I have had.

1.  started out working at Hardee's in A.F.  (not there anymore)

2.  worked for Media Play in Orem.  (not there anymore)

3.  worked at the optical shop in ZCMI  (Uh-Oh, not there anymore. do I see a pattern)

4.  Was an EFY councelor after my mission.  (whew, EFY still going strong)

5. BYU in the Media Relations Dept.  (Whew, glad to know BYU is still there.)

I tag. . . .
