Music, Shoes, and Bats Oh My!

Last week was a crazy, busy week.  Here's the week in review, you know, for posterities sake.

Monday:
The calm before the storm
Tuesday:
Kids out of school for Veterans Day
10:00 a.m. Primary Activity (which we didn't make because my hair wasn't done in time.)
1:00 p.m. The ladies (YW leaders) coming over to decorate 120 shoe cookies for Young Women in Excellence.
5:30 p.m. leave to go early to Enrichment. (totally nervous to accompany the singing trio, and for my solo.)  Worked out fine by the way, especially the singing.
9:00 p.m. Come home, make a chicken pot pie and brownies
Wednesday:
8:00 a.m. take Will to school
9:00 a.m. Take Emma to school
9:10 a.m. frantically clean floors and get ready for Mid-week activity at my house.
10:30 a.m.  RS Mid week activity.  Sharing Thanksgiving recipes.  And I demonstrated how to make pie crust.
12:00 p.m.  pick up Emma from school
1:00 p.m.  Hurry and frost brownies for Young Women in Excellence and try to figure out how to do a rose bud on each peice.
5:30 p.m.  Leave for the church to help set up for Young Women in Excellence.  Buddy set up the projector for the DVD he helped make last week.
7:00 p.m.  Young Women in Excellence  "The worth of a 'sole' "  Everything was wonderful and the girls did a really good job.  The refreshments weren't bad either.:)
Thursday:
8:00 a.m.  Take Will to school
11:30 p.m. Go visiting teaching.  While we were there, Emma came running in from outside saying, "Bat, Bat."  We thought she was talking about a baseball bat, so didn't pay much attention.  Then another little girl promptly brought in this petrified bat and handed it to her mom, to which she screamed and through it on the floor.
3:00 p.m. pick up Will
6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Go on splits with the missionaries.
9:30 p.m. Come home and Buddy says, "They called to say they had animal control come and get the bat to test it for raibies, so watch Emma closely."  Huh?!
Friday:
9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. babsit for a good friend.
1:30 p.m. Call saying the bat was too pertrified to get any juices out of it, which means no rabies.  Whew!  Glad to get that worry out of the way.:)
3:00 p.m. pick up Will from school
4:00 p.m.  Make brownies for Neighborhood Watch party I am hosting Sat.
8:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.  Make cookies and scotcheroos for Neighborhood Watch Party.
Saturday:
6:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Help at Cannery
Rest of the day clean and get ready for party.
6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.  Neighborhood Watch Open House (which went really well, thanks for all the support awesome neighbors)  Also had the Association Board President ask what else was on my plate and would I serve in a committee.  (uh, wrong week to ask that.) Actually, considering it.
9:00 p.m.  Go to Wal-mart with Will who really wants to use his points he has earned (which were meant to be used to go to the museum up in Phoenix today, which didn't happen because of circumstances beyond his control) to get a transformer guy.
Sunday:
7:00 a.m.  Bust it in the morning to make it to church on time so when they announce my release of being the Mia Maid teacher and my new calling as the 1st councelor in Young Womens, I can be there to stand and attempt to look like I have everything under control and that I will do a great job.
