A great scripture

1 Timothy 4:12
". . . be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity."

Chapter 4 i n 1 Timothy is a short little chapter, only 16 verses, but so powerful.  Paul talks about our time.  A little about the bad things that will go on, and a little about how we can protect ourselves from those bad things.  He says "Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands. . ."

We all have gifts and talents to use for good.  Do we really understand our potential to do good in this world, to be a light and an example to those around us.  There is a lot of crud going on around us everyday, but we have the ability to rise above the filth and to make a difference in ourselves and in our surroundings.  Don't be afraid to take the road less traveled.  Don't be afraid to stand up for what's right.  Don't be afraid to let the light of Christ shine in you by showing outwardly who you are on the inside.  I know the Savior lives and that he loves us.   I know that through Him I can conquer the battles I face everyday.

In the words of  Robert Frost, " Two roads diverged in a wood, and I. . . I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference."
