It is done. Today I was sustained and set apart to be the Young Women's President. It was amazing. They set me apart during Young women's so the girl's could all be there and be apart of it. This is the biggest calling I have ever had, and it is overwhelming, scary, and intimidating.
But I have to say, this past month, in preparing myself, I have really come to understand the scripture, D&C 84:88
"And whoso recieveth you, there I will be also, for I will go before your face. I will be on your right hand and on your left, and my Spirit shall be in your hearts, and mine angels round about you, to bear you up."
Never before in my life have I felt the Lord lifting me and helping me as I have in the last month. I really understand the concept of "give it to the Lord." Even as a missionary I didn't fully understand that, and now, in a small way, I do. Do your best, and let the Lord do the rest. It will all work out.
This is His church and His gospel. He will not let it fail, despite my human imperfections.
I love the girl's in our Young Women's, and I love the Gospel. I know that it is true. And I pray that as I try to do all that I can, the Lord will fill in the gaps and these young women will be able to "come unto Christ" in ways they never knew before.
