We had three laurels graduate this year and so we put together these little gifts for them.
There was the book "Daughter of a King", a picture of the temple, a cookbook, and some dish towels for them. I wanted it to represent different aspects of Gospel living. The book helps to remind us who we are and why we are here. It is a really sweet story and hopefully reminds these girls that they are daughters of a Heavenly King. The temple picture helps them to remember to keep the temple as their goal. If that goal is important, then they will make the right decisions no matter what circumstance they find themselves in. And the cookbook of course to help them be on their own and to be self sufficient.
