Whoa!!!

Whoa baby, it's been one busy, crazy, fun month! Here are a few of the things we have been up to.

On Emma's birthday we went and saw the movie "Up" at the drive-in. It was so much fun. I remember going to the drive-in when I was young. You just don't see very many of them anymore.

On June 13, my parents and brother -in-law Kody, came to help Buddy with the kids while I was at camp. My mom's birthday was on the 14th, and we hadn't done any cake with Emma for her birthday 3 days earlier, so what do you get, double the fun.

Then I was off to camp. Bye mom, have a fun week with all the young women. Watch out for the bears, skunks, and mountain stuff.

For Father's Day we made these fun treats to share, thanks Bakerella!

We spent the next 3 weeks in Utah having all kinds of fun.

There was the Bean Museum at BYU.

Lots of fun bubble bath's in DeeDee's big tub.

We were able to go up to Wellsville and see our dear friends, the Orton's. We were in the same ward in Japan. They were serving a mission in the temple there and we love them so much!

And of course, uncle Kayo took us on a tour of his working establishment.

Fireworks on the 4th.

And it wouldn't be a family vacation without pictures. We took some great Curtis Family photo's. Ufortunately, none of the big group shots worked out with our camera, so more to come later on those.

Curtis grandkids.

Of course there were many more gatherings and fun times. We celebrated lots of birthdays, saw dinosaurs, saw movies, visited with grandparents, parents and siblings. Ate lots of good food, including Los Hermano's, fabulous sandwiches from Kneaders, yummy cupcakes from the "Sweet Tooth Fairy" and my favorite, China Light Cafe. I saw my two sweet Laura friends. Laura from high school and Laura from Tucson, who now resides in North Salt Lake, sniff, sniff. I finally went to Tai Pan, oh my goodness, the greatest store ever! Park City outlet mall, played in a ball game, caught colds, skated at Classic skating, swam at Kami's, made a stop at the BYU Creamery (gotta love that), played with the cutest neices and nephews, and just had a fabulous time being in the place where family, long time friends, and love surround and warm you up like a great big hug. My cup truely runneth over. Thanks for the hug, I needed that.
