My sweet Will, my dear sweet Will. These are the words to describe my little 7 year old's behavior at school, and I quote from the offending teacher, "While I was speaking to another student about a discipline issue, Will butted in and told me that I wasn't his teacher."
I am aware that the school has a no tolerance policy, that is part of the reason why he is at that school. But I fear that he is not, nor will he ever fit the mold.
I want him to be respectful and a good boy at school. It breaks my heart when I hear of behavior that is not o.k. After all he is Captain RR (Reverence and Respectful). I guess the Captain was off duty Thurs. and Fri.
I don't make excuses, I just wish that schools were better equipt to handle those kids who don't fit the mold and may need to learn in a different way, or be dealt with in a different manner.
Sigghhhh, I am still thinking about what would be the best for him. I don't want him to get away with bad behavior, but I don't want him to feel like a criminal either. He is little and still learning. I love him so much!
Well, that's the story. Oh and he also had to come home early yesterday because he spit on a boy. What am I going to do with my little Will?!!
