Sometimes kids are funny. And sometimes they do things that seem funny and cute cause they are little but could end up being super big problems later when they are not so little. Here are some examples:
1. Will loves to get his own way. He fights for control of most things. This has had some funny moments, but we are getting way past the stage of "well, he's only such and such age" or "boys will be boys." Can I just say, he is just like me. Not so cute when you are 30 and fighting for control of everything in your life.
2. Emma likes to steal, borrow, take, what have you. She is many times in possession of things that do not belong to her. Her pockets are always bulging with items collected. Sometimes they are just rocks, but sometimes they are other childrens toys, money not belonging to her, or Buddy's wedding ring. (which we are still trying to find). A little funny now, not so funny later.
3. Tyler still loves to dress in girls clothing. Super cute now, way not cute later.
4. Tyler discovered how to do zurburts. . . on Emma's bum. Cute now, not so much later.
5. Torturing barbie dolls. Sort of funny "boys will be boys" thing now. Not even remotely funny later.
And finally, their little faces and manerisms and smiles!! So super cute now, totally saving them from the wrath of mom sometimes, and hopefully will be just as cute later on in those awkward jr. high years.
Can't they just stay little and cute forever!?
