Frequently, like every morning, there is a battle going on in our household. Some people just don't notice the time or heed the warnings to what will happen when the time comes to go to school and they are in various stages of getting ready. Fortunately, all people have managed to be dressed in time to go.
Well, this morning it happened, it was time to go and some people weren't ready to go, yet they were forced to go in whatever stage of dressed they were in, a.k.a. pj's.
Oh the wailing and gnashing of teeth that took place when the consequence was held firm. We talked of how said person would have to go into class in the pj's and apologize to the teacher for not getting ready in time for school. Only then would school clothes be worn.
Well, I gave in and let said person put the clothes on in the car. There was much praise and thanksgiving on this account, but next time, (how many times have I said that) beware, said person would get the full consequence.
Do half consequences count???
