Our Pool Day Today
(blasted hotness of 106)
4:45 p.m. Everyone load up, we're goin' swimming
4:46 p.m. Everyone unload, we're at the pool
4:47 p.m. Tyler (crying), coaxing to get out of the car.
(he is worried there are too many kids in the little pools to allow for cannonballs.)
4:50 p.m. Finally out of the car, into the little pool.
Will sad, wants to go to the big pool
4:52 p.m. Emma sneeks out to the big pool with Will
4:54 p.m. Drag Tyler, kicking and screaming out of the little pool to join siblings in big pool. (gotta make sure no one drowns or anything.)
4:55 - 5:00 p.m. Tyler is on timeout twice for screaming. Emma and Will have fought with each other 3 times.
5:05 p.m. Kids, we're goin' home.
Kicking and screaming all the way out of the pool, while gathering our gear, out to the car, into the car, and all the way home.
Up to your rooms, pj's on, and you will all stay on your beds until your father gets home.
Chicken sandwich for me and a big spoonful of homemade frosting.
Ahhh, much better.
