Doin' up the New Year right!
Monday evening at 5:00, Tyler said, "I want to go to Temple Square for my birthday". Sweet, let's go tomorrow evening. Wait, what's that you say, you say the last day is today??
Well, we hurried and got as warm as we could in about 20 min. time and hopped in the family mobile and drove up to SLC. The temp. was a cool 20 degrees and not to crowded on the square.
We had a really fun good time, for about 30 min. then it was time to go home.
Having Tyler's birthday on New Year's day is always fun. There is always something fun going on, everyone is off of work and the movie theater is OPEN and crowded.
Ty had the traditional breakfast in bed.
Family came over for make up brunch (brunch that was supposed to be on Christmas day, but we couldn't keep out of the bathroom that day due to poops and pukes.)
Then we all went to see "Wreck it Ralph", all 18 of us. Good thing I bought tickets on Saturday, the line was out of the building.
Ate cake
Played a rousing came of Disney's Clue
And off too bed.
I do believe it was the perfect way to ring in the New Year.
