Just wanted to update on how Emma was doing. She is doing pretty good. The recovery time for this type of surgery is just a long one, no way around it. Some people, especially kids bounce back pretty quick, but it seems to depend on each person. Emma is still not eating and drinking great, but she is at least up and acting more like herself. Next week should be a doosy as the scabs will start to form and be as painful if not more than this week has been. Better buy another bottle of Tylenol, we are almost finished with our second one as we speak!
Anyway, she is doing good and on the mend. And besides how bad can it really be when you get to eat as much ice cream as you want and you get to have a movie-thon everyday :) I think we could recite the whole Robin Hood movie in our sleep, we have watched it so much!
