Music: Creating Connections

When I was in 8th grade I had a Teen Living class.
We watched a made for TV movie about Karen Carpenter
That was in 1990, and ever since then I have had this nostalgic feeling for the Carpenters.
I didn't grow up listening to them, they were just a few years ahead of my time.
But I feel this connection to her voice, their music and her story.
It's amazing to me that there can be a connection to someone that I have never met.
Music can do that sort of thing.
